Bilingual Registered Psychotherapist
Having worked in the mental health field for 17 years have provided me with experiences that have enriched me as a person, the way I connect with people and the environment in which I operate my private practice. I have been a Bilingual Registered Psychotherapist for 8 years, within this time I worked for a Family Health Team alongside Doctors. I had the wonderful opportunity of working for the University of Ottawa where I was an incremental contributor to an organizational re-structuring as well as creating a Resiliency program. In the past 5 years I have been working for my Private Practice where I specialize in Trauma Therapy and more specifically First responders and Law enforcement. My Practice is located within the serene environment of nature where the trees whistle in the wind and the lake’s water is the sounds of the calm rhythmic waves. There is a beauty, calming, grounding aspect to nature that I believe has a healing power in itself. I want to help people feel welcomed, heard, support and empowered to be the best version of themselves.
Life is hard, let’s make it a little easier together. It is through exploring life and being curious about ourselves where we can grow and blossom into our most authentic self.
Working in this field has been a longstanding passion of mine and I feel I have learned the importance of feeling heard and seen as a person. I aspire to help people see that we do not need to live on autopilot, we can slow down and learn the beauty of being in the moment. Having an environment where people can learn the tools to help with burnout, work life balance and just being happier within themselves is something I pride myself in. I feel what I do for work is my passion and I want to help spread the word of the beauty of personal growth and wellness.

I pride myself in my curiosity of life and within myself. It is within my first Career as an Elite Ice Hockey Player where I started to uncover the power of looking within. I was fortunate enough to have played for Team Ontario as well as go to University in the States on a Hockey Scholarship. While playing Division I hockey in the states I graduated a 4 year program in 3 which had its challenges however, I learned about my determination, dedication and resiliency traits. I finished my career playing in the CWHL which is now known as the PWHL. Hockey was the beginning of my Mental Health Journey and the lessons I have learned continue to impact me today. I share this to provide insight on part of me, so you feel connected and know that I too am human and I only want to support people along their journey.
